IMPORTANT NOTICE!

Effective 1/17/22 – 3/27/22, Amtrak will be temporarily reducing the frequency of some long-distance trains from daily to 5 times per week because of COVID related staffing shortages. The Texas Eagle trains 21 & 22 will NOT originate in Chicago or San Antonio on Wednesdays and Thursday: same day southbound at Arcadia for Train 21, and effectively on Thursdays and Fridays northbound at Arcadia for Train 22.

 

   VISITOR CENTER HOURS 

Spring, Summer and Fall Hours:
Monday thru Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Sundays 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.

Winter Hours:
November 1st through March 31st
Fridays and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Sundays 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.

AMTRAK STATION HOURS

The TEXAS EAGLE train stops five days a week per the schedule below:

TRAIN 21 Southbound to San Antonio – 10:02 PM

(except for Wednesday and Thursday)

TRAIN 22 Northbound to Chicago – 4:19 AM

(except for Thursday and Friday)

Parking is “free” to Amtrak travelers, but the vehicle must be registered at the train station.
